About the Walkathon
Women’s Walkathon Pakistan – the brainchild of FemGames, in collaboration with CW Pakistan, and support of the PCB, is an initiative to engage women across Pakistan in incentivized walkathons.
This goal is intended to be carried out in safe and accessible spaces. The core idea behind the initiative is to encourage all women and girls to walk, which is an effective and affordable activity, for the purpose of health and fitness.
The pandemic has affected the livelihoods of many in more ways than one with the gender bias seeing an even bigger gap. It’s imperative that we keep pushing awareness out in women and girls across Pakistan on the importance of keeping fit.

Fizza Abid
Event Manager
Fizza Abid is a graduate of MSc Sport Management from Loughborough University, UK. Also a Software Engineer. She has played first-class cricket for Islamabad Women’s Cricket Team and has been working with the PCB as a freelancer. She is also engaged in the Pakistan Super League and has the honour of carrying Pakistan’s globe in the final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup, 2019 held in Lord’s.
